Future Trends in Technology and Education is a monthly report. It surveys recent developments in how education is changing, primarily under the impact of digital technologies. Its purpose is to help educators, policy-makers, and the public think about the future of teaching, learning, research, and institutions.
Every month 月光ssr网址aggregates recent developments, checking them against previously-identified trendlines. As certain trends build in support and significance, the report recommends watching them for future impact. FTTE also notes trends which appear to be declining in significance.
We divide the trends into four broad mega-categories, like so:
Each report appears during the first week of the month. The format is simple: a bulletin written in condensed prose, a pdf document (about nine to fourteen pages, roughly 2,000 words excluding footnotes) emailed to individual subscribers. It is mostly text, with some graphics (maps, charts, graphs, etc.). Every single item is backed up by footnoted research, usually accessible through the open Web.

Subscriptions are open to any interested person or institution.
FTTE is available in several ways.
- A personal subscription costs $5 US per month; signup instructions start in the next paragraph.
- Individuals can also sign up for an annual subscription at $60 per year,
- Individuals may also support us on Patreon for $10/month. That way you’ll receive FTTE, your name will appear on a big graphic “wall of credits” that I’ll publish with every issue, every presentation, and every Future Trends Forum session. Patreon supporters also receive access to early and/or exclusive content.
- Institutional subscriptions are available for $600/year. Payment can be made by PayPal or invoice (contact us directly).
